Friday, February 5, 2010 : Our Global Agenda oomph

http://www.globalagendagame.com/

A suprise sleeper of a game is the MMOFPS that was released this month. Thus far we're having a blast with it!

The best way that I can describe is a cross between Tribes along with concepts from Team Fortress 2 and the MMO elements of Guild Wars and Hellgate London. Somehow, HighRez makes it work and has produced a really fun game to play. Admitedly, some of us are addicted to it

We're currently playing under our old Clan Tag of Clan Dog Pound.

We would like to invite former friends and guildmates to join in on the fun.

I just wanted to keep everyone posted, TW merged with another guild. Both guilds changed their guild name; we now go under the tag TWIST (Thunder Walkers / Semper Tyrannis TW/ST). We have moved to a high POP server, and have moved up the ranking very fast. Semper was 23 on the server, in our first week as TWIST we moved to 14th the second week to 9th. We cleared ICC first wing last night only to be beat by an alliance guild by one hour, we were the first horde guile to clear ICC 1st wing, beating another horde guild by only 1 Minute. Not bad for a guild that has played together for 2 weeks. Now the long wait for the next wing, 3 more weeks. I guess this will be the time to get all the old content done, now that we established our self’s on the server. We look forward to the upcoming server first, I am sure you will find it in any TWIST member’s feat of strength achievements.

Wednesday, November 25, 2009 : Farewell Drak'Thul oomph
As some of you may or not already know, Thunderwalkers has officially decided to put WoW raiding on hold indefinitely. We've had a great run on the Drak'Thul server, however all good things eventually come to an end. Over the past year many of our core members have lost interest in the game, including myself. Some have taken a hiatus, others have played on a more casual basis and the rest have remained active only to struggle keeping an active raid group. Drak'Thul has never been the mecca of raiding or anything, but it was our home and we leave behind some great memories and friends. Our remaining active players have gone ahead and transferred to another server to continue raiding with some old friends from previous servers. From what I understand, they have already made significant advances in progression after the first night of raiding. We wish them all success.

Although you may run into a few old TW members on occasion, we are officially done with raiding on Drak'Thul as a core group. Despite us being officially retired from WoW as a guild, ThunderWalkers will remain an active gaming community and many of our core members have agreed to reunite for the release of Biowares upcoming Star Wars MMORPG. The game looks great and we hope to make a major impact in it once it's released.

Once again, we would like to thank everyone that made this server enjoyable for us over the past 3 years. When we first transferred over to Drak'Thul ( before the release of the Burning Crusades Expansion) we were a small group of players left over from our glory days in Everquest. We made many friends and enemies along the way. Despite being small, we had some decent skill and were fortunate to recruited some quality players that helped make our guild a success. We went from being a small group of friends that cleared Karazhan for fun, to one of the most powerful and successful guilds in Drak'Thuls history. We can walk away feeling proud of our in game accomplishments, but most of all, we've remained a great group of friends throughout the years.

A big thanks to everyone that hung in there with us through the good and the bad times. A big FU to those that bailed on us when times were rough.

See you in Star Wars: The Old Republic.

We'll be revamping this website in the upcoming months to reflect our anticipation of the SWTOR release. We'll also be modifying our recruitment policy prior to the SWTOR release. Let's hope that it doesn't blow like every other recent MMORPG that's been released in the last 5 years. Had Sony not introduced the NGE, some of us would probably still be playing Star Wars Galaxies. Let's hope that Bioware has learned from Sony's mistakes and gives us a quality product.

For the record, we will be going to the Darkside.

In the meantime, you may see some of us giving the new Star Trek game a shot as a way to keep us busy.

Check the forums for more information.

And we leave you all with this.....

Update: 2/4/2009

After Knox left us for the hills, we decided to kill something in his absence (when all else fails sub Knox). Great work guys. Now for the Faction Champions...
