TW is recruiting for SWTOR Raid content!

Yup, we're opening up recruitment for a short time. If you're an end game minded, experienced MMO player, take a moment to consider apply to us.

ThunderWalkers has a long history of success in the MMORPG genre. Over the years, we've had several great accomplishments, such as realm firsts kills, realm first legendary weapons, and we've always ranked amongst the top in content progression. We plan on making a name for ourselves once again in SWTOR.

Currently, we've got around 30 active players that have participated in beta and early release.
We're looking to add 2-3 quality players to our roster.
( DPS and Healers, we've got tanking covered for now.)

We'll be running two active raid groups.

Team A = 16 Man progression group
Team B= 8 man casual/ progressive - RL friendly raid scheduling.

Well, after more than 5 years with our previous webhost, we've decided to re-vamp our website for the release of SWTOR. Thanks to Lunchmeat for paying for the site while we worked on building it and big thanks to Xfile for offering to renew our new website for the next two years.

If you were a member of our old World of Warcraft website, you'll need to register for a new account on this site. If you used this site during the SWTOR beta testing phase, then you've already got an account, but will need to clear the cache and cookies from your web browser in order to log in.

We look forward to growing the community again and have as much success in SWTOR as we did in previous MMOs.

According to Hurtyou, he received an email notifying him that our guild has been assigned to the server named "Fatman".

In my opinion, that's an awesome server name, lol. In honor of this, I'll be rolling a Fat Bastard alt operative.

Early Start Release Date Announced!

In a change from what was originally stated, it appears BioWare will be launching the Early Access period for Star Wars: The Old Republic earlier than previously advertised.

Yesterday BioWare released the client for pre-download and sneakily revealed that the starting date for the Early Access period had been brought forward to Tuesday December 13th. This was confirmed by both Stephen Reid and the official Preorder FAQ which states:

When does Early Game Access begin?

Early Game Access will begin on December 13th, 2011 , 7:00AM EST (Pacific: December 13th, 4:00AM PST; European: December 13th, 12:00PM GMT, 1:00PM CET), seven days prior to the official launch of Star Wars: The Old Republic. The length of your Early Game Access period will vary depending on the order in which you redeemed your Pre-Order Code. The speed of your download of the Game may also affect when you start playing.

This is of course great news! The Early Access period is still staggered based on when you entered your pre-order code, so if you pre-ordered recently, you won’t be playing on the 13th. Invitations to the Early Access period will begin to be sent by email on the 13th, so all you need to do is check your email daily from that point onward to find out which day you’ll be granted access.

For some of you, SWTOR will be playable in less than a week. Fantastic!

Welcome to our future website!

This website will be dedicated to our venture into the upcoming game, Star Wars the Old Republic MMO. As a launch date gets closer, we'll update this site more and add more content to it.

So go sign up there! We will be approving members weekly, and we anticipate a membership base of 50+ players at launch.

Once Daris get his shit together, we'll be redirecting DNS to this website.

Also, we'll be announcing what server we plan to start on as we get closer to launch, so check back as we get closer.
